SUMMER MUSIC Beginner PROGRAM 2019 at Sagamore Middle School, 57 Division Street, Holtsville Edward Albinski, Music Director Sponsored by the Atlantic Wind Symphony, Inc. This program is designed to offer a head start for instrumental music students who have been selected by their school music teachers to begin in September 2019. Three weeks of instruction will enable the participants to enter the fall program with confidence and success. THREE-WEEK SESSIONS: MONDAY – THURSDAY 12 – ONE-HOUR SESSIONS STARTING MONDAY JULY 8TH AND ENDING THURSDAY JULY 25TH including a parent demonstration on the last day Fee: $125.00 per student. This includes a lesson book, 12 one-hour lessons with a certified music teacher assisted by high school students from the Tri-M music honor society. Summer Music Course Description: Students will be taught instrumental basics through lesson books used by the Sachem School District. On the last day of classes, parents and friends are welcome to an "open class" to see and hear the students accomplishments. Registration: REGISTER ONLINE @ atlanticwinds.org, or fill out the registration form below. The fee is nonrefundable. Students can obtain instruments from their music teacher or provide their own. To obtain a Sachem instrument see your school music teacher in early June to use an instrument for the summer. Check on the school deadline.
