Session 1
9 Weekdays - Tuesday, July 5 through Friday, July 15 (Concert: July 15 at Noon)

Session 2
9 Weekdays - Tuesday, July 19 through Friday, July 29 (Concert: July 29 at Noon)

The Atlantic Wind Symphony, with the assistance of the Sachem District Music Department, is very pleased to be able to offer Summer Music to young instrumental music students. The fee is $85.00 per course/per session. Each course is a two week session, plus a concert. (Less than $10 per day!) Save $5 if registered by June 27th!

Summer Music Course Descriptions: (offered both sessions. different music each session)

Junior Ensemble - 8:30-10:00 am
for band and orchestral instrumentalists and keyboard with 2-5 years of experience

Group Lessons - 8:30-10:00 am
for woodwind, brass, percussion and keyboard players with 1-3 years of experience.

Orchestra - 10:15-11:45 am
for violin, viola,cello, string bass, & keyboard players with 1-3+ years of experience.

Band - 10:15-11:45 am
for woodwind, brass, percussion and keyboard players with 1-3+ years of experience.

Music will be adapted to each student’s ability and will be different for each session. All students who have completed at least one year of instruction are welcome. Students can attend any combination of sessions and classes. All courses will rehearse 90 minutes each day for two weeks, and include a combined concert on Friday, the last day, at 12:00 Noon. Parents and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Please come in person to Sagamore Middle School on Thursday, June 30, 2011: 9-12 AM for the first session, and Monday July 18, 2011: 9-12 AM for the second session.

Refunds are available only before the first day of class, minus a five dollar nonrefundable registration fee.

Musical suggestion: Combine Group Lessons at 8:30 AM with Band at 10 AM or Junior Ensemble with Band and really improve your skills this summer!
