Summer Music Beginner Program Registration
Weekdays from Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 29
The Atlantic Wind Symphony with the assistance of the Sachem District Music Department is pleased to offer the Summer Music Beginner Program. This program is designed to offer a head start for instrumental music students who have been selected by their school music teachers to begin in September 2011. Four weeks of instruction will enable the participants to enter the fall program with confidence and success.
Fee: $150.00 per student. This includes a lesson book, an instrument that will be provided by Sachem, 19 half-hour lessons with a certified music teacher, plus a half-hour follow up practice time each day with high school students from the Tri-M music honor society. The cost to you is less than $8 per day!
Summer Music Course Descriptions: Students will be taught instrumental basics through lesson books used by the Sachem School District. Your child's school music teacher will be advised of student progress during the Summer Music Beginner Program. On the last day of classes, parents and friends are welcome to an "open class" to see and hear the students accomplishments.
Registration: Fill out the registration information below, or click here to register by mail. The fee is nonrefundable. Students can obtain instruments from their music teacher or provide their own. To obtain a Sachem instrument check the box below: "Needs School Instrument." After your registration form is processed you will be called to arrange class time and when to pick up your instrument.
